Classic Car House presents the timeless allure of the Ferrari 308 GT4, introduced in 1973, originally conceived as a Dino, named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, this iconic model boasts a striking design by Marcello Gandini—who also crafted legendary cars like the Lamborghini Urraco.

Our exceptional 308 GT4, chassis number 12082, is one of the earliest to proudly wear the Ferrari badge after two years as a Dino. Originally delivered in Palermo and later residing in Rome, it found its way to Denmark in 2003. Rarely seen, the 308 GT4 is the only Ferrari series produced with design by Bertone.

This particular example is beautifully finished in the rare Blu Scuro Dino, a striking contrast to the more common Rosso Chiaro or Rosso Corsa, and sits on authentic 14” magnesium wheels.

Powered by a 2.9-liter V8 engine with Weber carburetors, delivering an exhilarating 255 horsepower, this Ferrari offers an unforgettable driving experience. The sound is nothing short of euphoric when the carburators are allowed to breathe freely. In 2012, the engine was restored, work which included balancing the crankshaft, installing new valves, and overhauling the Weber carburetors. The gearbox was inspected and fitted with a new clutch, ensuring optimal performance.

Inside, the two-tone interior provides a stunning complement to the dark Blu Scuro Dino exterior. Classic Ferrari touches abound, with an open gearshift, analog toggle switches, and two-tone leather seats. The instrument panel frames five functioning gauges, and modern comforts like electric windows.

This rare Ferrari is extensively documented, including invoices, inspection reports, customs and tax reports, and a rich history—making it a prized addition to any collection or driving enthusiast’s garage.
