1991 BMW 850i
Sold
A mechanical masterpiece, a 5-litre V12 engine with 300 hp, a unique design by Klaus Kapitza and a high level of technology: this is what the 850i offered when it entered the market in 1989, which immediately became a reference in the large sports coupé segment.
This particular example was registered on March 6, 1991 and has retained the elegant "metallic lagoon green" hue, combined with a interior in brown leather. It was ordered with the coveted and unconventional 6-speed manual transmission as well as a sunroof.
The inspection history goes back to 1996, when the vehicle had driven 44,989 km, and proves the steady increase in kilometres up to 113,420 km. The extremely reasonable mileage is confirmed by the overall good condition.
The restraint of color is offset by beautiful 18-inch Alpina rims.
At the end of 2021, the car was serviced at BMW, including fluid change, filter, spark plug and stabilizer position repair. In August 2022, the brake pads were changed, the air conditioning system was refilled, the rims were reconditioned, new tyres were fitted and the axle geometry was adjusted at the front.
It's obvious that the 850i is rising as a collector's vehicle, and this particular example with the best specs deserves some real care.
